If you finish your Nitec course and qualify for Higher Nitec, and you are still below 19 years old, you can appeal to Mindef for another deferment.

Online students will be admitted to on-campus courses on a transfer basis, subject to on campus program of his/her home institution, standard admission policy of home institution applies. Credits taken online may be transferred subject to standard on campus evaluation procedures.

For Malaysian students, they need to have at least 5 credits in SPM or equivalent qualifications. Credits must be in Mathematics and English. For international students, they must complete a 12-year education in their home country and need to be 17 years old and above. English qualification is not compulsory as students can study in the English Language Proficiency Course (ELPC) at Stamford College before continuing with the next course of their choice.
