You can view the history of your Federal student loans by going to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) and National Student Clearinghouse websites.  For the history of your private education loans, please contact the lender(s) servicing your loans.

How can I check the status of my student loans?

The site displays information on loan and/or federal grant amounts, outstanding balances, loan statuses, and disbursements. To use the NSLDS Student Access Web site, you will need to provide your Social Security Number, the first two letters of your last name, your date of birth, and your PIN.

It is the student's responsibility to contact each office that has placed a hold on their record at the phone number provided. Only the campus office that placed the hold can remove the hold.
