Do I really need a pressure regulator?

DripWorks Frequently Asked Questions
If you're using T-Tape, soaker dripline or Aquapore you will need a regulator. Read the individual product descriptions for pressure recommendations. If you're using pressure compensating emitters, Shrubblers® or misters and have normal pressure you may not need a regulator. If you are using sprayers, you may want to use a pressure regulator to bring the water pressure into the rated range of the sprayer, since they will generally put out more water at higher pressures.

Why do I need a filter and pressure regulator?

Frequent Questions - Water Smart Landscapes
The emitters on your drip irrigation system have very small openings for the water to pass through. The filter prevents sediment from clogging your emitters, ensuring your plants will get the correct amount of water. A pressure regulator keeps the irrigation system at the manufacturer's recommended pressure (usually between 20 and 40 pounds per square inch). Not installing a pressure regulator may cause fittings and lines to fail, creating wasteful breaks and leaks in your system.

Water is delivered to your neighborhood by a water main system. Generally a street will have only one main running down it. To get the water to the customers on the opposite side of the street the main will need to be accessed and a SERVICE run underground from one side of the street to the other.

OK let's start from the top. First, there are four banjo bolts that are associated with the oil filter mounting block.

What is a Low Pressure Regulator?

FAQ
Typically, the term "Low-Pressure Regulator" refers to the regulator which reduces the output pressure of the gas source for use in pneumatically or electro-pneumatically operated guns. Gas from the low-pressure regulator is usually less than 200 psi and drives the pneumatics which cock the gun. The low-pressure regulator should not be confused with a regular "regulator" which reduces the pressure supplied to the valve system used to propel the ball.

Why choose a Pressure Control valve instead of a Pressure Regulator?

Do I really need to use supplements?

BARF for Beginners - Most Frequently Asked Questions
I haven't cut supplements out totally, although IMO a lot of people tend to over-supplement. This was something Billinghurst suggested too at a recent seminar here, and he mentioned that he only supplements his own dogs every now and again. I think if you are providing a good varied diet you will be providing pretty much what your dog needs - all in a highly bio-available form. My first preference when looking to a certain vitamin/mineral will always be to provide it in its natural form first.
