Under the US Visa Waiver Programme, many British Citizens holding a UK passport do not require a US visa providing: - Duration of stay is not more than 90 days and traveller holds a valid ticket for onward or return travel. Traveller has never been arrested (even if the arrest did not lead to a conviction) and has not been convicted of a crime.

Make sure your 1-20 has been updated (signed within the past 4 months) by an OIS advisor, you have a valid passport and a valid visa if necessary. Please keep in mind that OIS requests at least 24-48 hours (this may be longer at the end & beginning of term) for any type of paperwork that has to be signed or updated.

U.S. and Canadian citizens as well as citizens from most European countries, Mexico, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa do not need a visa to visit Israel. For yachts traveling inside US waters, you will need at least a Visa Waiver, which is good for only 90 days at a time, and is given upon arrival to most foreign nationals. However, most yachts prefer non-Americans to have a B1/B2 multiple entry Visa, which allows you free entry and exit from the country for sometimes up to 10 years. This must be applied for outside of the US, and does not legally permit foreign nationals to work on US registered yachts.

Should you require a visa to travel to Germany, the procedure is normally as follows: Send us your completed course registration form along with the address of your local German consulate and a statement outlining the reason for your visa application, for example, to learn the German language, to attend a German university or to visit as a tourist. Check with the Norwegian Embassy or Consulate General in your country concerning visa requirements for travel to Norway. At the present time no visa for Norway is required for a stay in Norway up to 90 days of North American, Central American, and most- South American or European citizens. Several other countries, mainly in East Asia, are also exempted from this requirement. Remember that you always need a passport valid for six months beyond your travel period to travel abroad.

The U.S. Guam Visa Waiver Program allows travelers from certain countries, including those holding the British National Overseas Passport, to apply for visa-free entry to Guam for periods of less than 15 days for business or holiday travel. Persons holding Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passports or Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Document of Identity for Visa Purposes are not eligible for this program.
