Tryouts are not held by our Minor League Baseball teams. Our teams are assigned players by their Major League Baseball affiliate. The Major League Scouting Bureau conducts tryout camps around the country and can be reached at 909-980-1881 for tryout information.

Minor League Baseball was organized in 1901. The golden age of the league came right after World War II, and in 1949, the game attracted more than 39.7 million fans (still the attendance record year; they also had more than 400 teams during this era). The 2003 season marked the second highest attendance record with more than 39 million! Total regular season attendance has increased 18 of the last 22 seasons.

There are two separate lists of players for minor league teams: the "active list", and the "reserve list". Players may be transferred between these lists before the start of each game, but only players who are on the "active list" at the start of the game can play in a particular game.
