Normally this problem is caused because the file already exists on the server and is read-only or you don't have appropriate permissions to overwrite it. To circumvent this problem rename your file by adding a number following the file name but before the file extension (if visible). For example FRUIT.doc would become FRUIT1.doc

This is a common problem in ASP.NET. It happens because some program is scanning the Temporary ASP.NET files folders where your assemblies are copied. They have the files open in a mode that prevents ASP.NET itself from using the assembly file.

If you get a Code 403 "Access Denied" message when you try to post a message or reply, or when you try to access a message from the Forum, it's because either you, someone using the IP address you currently have, or someone from your class C IP block has been identified as a board spammer (or flamer) and has been banned. Before Medley, Windows 95 and Windows 98 did not have a local file system that supported file security on a local disk. Therefore, many Windows applications are not prepared for the ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED (5) error code when opening a file on the Medley drive. The actual problem is because of the Microsoft Indexing Services which scans the Temporary ASP.NET Files and while doing so, the system puts a lock on the same. It's possible that account trying to access PHONEslips is already using PHONEslips under the same user name. By design, it is not possible to have two sessions of the PHONEslips program running at the same time for the same account. Close one of the sessions to access PHONEslips. Check to make sure you and everybody else has proper access rights (full access) to the folder where PHONEslips is installed. Follow this simple step to see if you have the proper rights.

There are two possible causes for this problem stemming from your Firefox configuration. Check the following: Make sure that your cache size is greater than 0. In Firefox, go to Tools / Options / Privacy / Cache and make sure that the cache size is larger than zero. Most well configured SMTP servers will not allow a user from outside of their own local domain to send a message to users that are also outside of that domain. Check username and password are lower case only. Check spelling. Check there is no space in 'sorethroat'.
