Our Simple Plan offers 50 MB of storage space and 2 GB (2,000 megabytes)of traffic. The Simple Plan is ideal for a small or starter site (about 100 - 200 pages) that requires dependable web hosting and and enough traffic to accomodate 100,000 to 150,000 hits per month. Disk space: GMT contains some 100,000 lines of code. On a Linux workstation the executables take up about 15-50 Mb depending on use of shared libraries. In addition there are support data such as GSHHS coastlines, rivers, and political boundaries. The default distribution of these data includes intermediate, low and crude resolution versions which together takes up another 5 Mb of space. These are sufficient for most regional map applications.

Each myworld account comes with 10 megabytes (mb) of disk storage space on our server for your email. As long as you routinely check your mail and delete old mail periodically, this will be more than enough for most people. If you're in the habit of leaving your mail on our server, then you may have to be a little more diligent about keeping enough free storage to still receive new mail.

All folders in the JHEM account are counted toward the disk space utilization. Please log into the JHEM webclient (http://jhem.johnshopkins.edu) and check each folder within the account to see if there are messages that can be deleted. Also remember to empty the Trash folder. You need to login to your JHEM account by using the webclient http://jhem.johnshopkins.edu). Your total quota usage will be at the bottom of the Inbox screen.

All users receive 60 Megabytes of disk space, as of December 17, 2001. The previous quota was 20 Megabytes.

Your site doesn't automatically shut down. There are alerts you will see and we will see them also. You can contact us if you need to add something or you can add options yourself from your control panel.

Yes, provided that you own the Sound Ideas products that you want to transfer. If you are setting up a multi-user audio production environment, you need a license from Sound Ideas. Our Hard Disk Information Sheet has been designed to provide full details about this license. If you decide to sell your hard drive at a later date, however, ALL Sound Ideas audio files MUST be removed from the disc before you transfer ownership.
