TextAloud includes toolbars or plugins for Internet Explorer and Firefox. With these browsers, after installing TextAloud and rebooting, you can display the toolbar by going to View->Toolbars in the browser. These toolbars make importing text or having web pages spoken simple. More details on using the toolbars in the TextAloud Manual.

There are a variety of ways to handle this. If you use Outlook, TextAloud will install a toolbar available in outlook under View->Toolbars. This will make it very simple to listen to emails. Toolbars for other mail clients will be coming, but for now if you use something other than outlook your best bets are to use TextAloud's clipboard watching or the Speak or Proofread Hotkeys. This is TextAloud's more advanced operating mode. Make sure the "Multi" button on the tool bar (top left) is highlighted. On the right side of the screen, make sure "Watch clipboard" and "Prompt to copy from clipboard" are checked. Go through several email messages (or web pages, or documents, etc.) and clip "articles" that you want TextAloud to read to you.

Highlight "File Options" on the tool bar (top right). Choose the Output File Format (.wav or MP3). Note the default File Output Directory, or use Browse to select another folder if you prefer. Click the large "File" button on the tool bar (top center) and TextAloud will begin reading your articles to the file format you selected. Microsoft Frontpage 2000. The program is efficient and reliable for the administration of a website, for instance when moving documents and links pointing at them. Frontpage 2000 is not state-of-the-art any longer, but convenient despite several problems. I'm still using it because I never change a running system unless it is inevitable. I would need weeks to get accustomed to something new and find workarounds for new bugs.

Piratedrive is not a web server nor does it have a url for accessing via Internet Explorer or any other web browser. You can save web page files on Piratedrive, but they cannot be accessed through a web browser. Piratedrive is 100% redundant with automatic fail over. There is no single point of failure. As with all computer hardware, unexpected problems do occur, but access interruptions should be significantly less than with typical servers.

If you forgot the file name and/or folder you downloaded to, click on the download link to open the download window and note this information without starting another download. When you loctate it, just double left-click on the file and then follow the directions to install TextAloud.

You can reference your macintosh by looking up its IP number in your MacTCP or TCP/IP control panel. Your IP address is a dotted quad of 4 numbers, like 130.95.156.3 or 1.2.3.4. Frontpage. Highly recommended for building websites. One of the best features I liked about Frontpage is that it keeps track of the changes you make, so when you want to "Publish" your website, it only sends down the changed information. It's a way of synchronizing between the information on your host and the information stored locally on your computer. Frontpage has an "Explorer" editor which lets you see your website as a whole.
