These exams are similar to a final exam in these courses. A waived course must be replaced by a Marshall elective in the same semester in which a waived course is offered. All IBEAR MBA participants must complete 56 units to receive the Marshall MBA degree. All IBEAR participants may replace three optional courses offered by the IBEAR program with Marshall electives offered to all MBA students. Two electives may be taken outside the IBEAR program in Spring or Summer semester.

It's a temporary status for players who are released by their team. A player released between August 15th and the end of the regular season stays on waivers for 48 hours. A player released at any other time stays on waivers for seven days. During the waiver period other teams may claim a waived player. If more than one team tries to claim the player, the team with the worst record gets him.

Yes. Applicants who are denied a TWIC will be notified of the reason for denial and instructed on how to apply for an appeal or waiver. All applicants have the opportunity to appeal a disqualification, and may apply to TSA for a waiver if disqualified for certain crimes, or if they are aliens in Temporary Protected Status. Applicants who seek a waiver and are denied may seek review by an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ).

Fall and spring semester scholarships may be awarded to Texas Cheer members based upon need, academic performance, cheerleading activity, and conduct. Scholarships have historically have ranged from $100 to $250 a semester. We currently DO NOT provide out of state tuition waivers.

As we add a grade each year to our program, and as our academic departments grow, new academic electives will be generated. For instance, beyond biology, chemistry, and physics, the Science Department may look to add courses in genetics, astronomy, and environmental science. In four years of the academic life of a Village Upper School student, he/she may also have opportunities to take courses in poetry, creative writing, architecture, economics, psychology, and computer science.

Business electives are courses required for graduation that are not part of the core or major requirements.

Currently, formal university-sponsored rotations are in development. However, there are many opportunities to travel on medical missions trips with our pediatrics or medicine faculty. Our faculty have scheduled annual trips to places like Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Kenya, Thailand, and love to bring residents along!
