It is your call, but your mechanic should be able to tell you whether or not they are worn down to a thickness where the law requires you to replace them. ABS has made rotors (the "discs") just as much a consumable as pads, and the common recommendation is that both should be replaced at the same time.

Transducer pads need replacement if damaged, torn or cut, or if the display reads "Replace Pads, Press ON." This message, which is generated after performing QC or when the "Xducer Pads Aging" message is displayed, occurs when the pads require replacement due to normal wear and tear. Theoretically, the rotors should outlast the pads. In fact the rotors should last several sets of brake pads, but they often don?t. Excessive rotor runout, uneven rotor wear, the appearance of hard spots and/or heat damage (cracking, glazing and discoloration) can all make good rotors go bad. Unless the rotors are in like-new condition and show no grooving or wear, resurfacing is always recommended when the pads are replaced.

Did you replace all of those little missing or broken plastic pieces inside and out? Do all systems work? Windows, locks, seats and sunroof all probably at least need lubrication. I take all of mine apart, clean and relube.

If no excessive pulsation, lateral runout or surface scoring exists and physical dimensions of the rotor are within manufacturer's specs and you are using the same type and manufacturer of friction material- rotors machining is not necessary.

With each set of Cutting Pads you have four cutting surfaces. We recommend you rotate the Cutting Pads frequently. When Cutting Pads are worn on each of the four sides, and dies no longer cut paper, it’s time to buy a new set of Cutting Pads.

With Aspen or Woodwool pads ( look like wood shavings ) you should expect to change these every 3 to 4 years, however, this can vary with water quality and local conditions.
