Contrary to popular belief, no Stanley steam car shipped from the factory ever had a steam whistle. In fact the steam whistle is a modern addition to a Stanley. The early cars had reed-trumpet horns on them. These were long, coiled, tapered, brass resonators not unlike a trombone or trumpet with a 4" rubber bulb at the small end. Also inside the small end was a little brass reed kind of like a duck call reed (the same principal that is employed with a clarinet or oboe).

Federal Railroad Administration regulations currently require trains to sound their horns at all at-grade highway crossings for valid safety concerns. However, some crossings may be reconstructed to eliminate at-grade crossings. At others, new federal "Quiet Zone" regulations could permit elimination of train horns if certain safety improvements are added to an at-grade crossing.

The main Sleep Deprivation CD track contains the relaxing tones designed to influence your brainwaves and help you fall to sleep. These tones continuously resonate and "vibrate", getting slower as the recording progresses. There's also soothing music played on top of the tones, to relax you further. You can play the CD at any volume. Even at minimum volume, the binaural beats are generated in exactly the same way... meaning you still fall to sleep quickly, not matter how quietly you play the CD.

If your house has insulation or a solid deck, the sound of rain or hail will be no more noticeable than with any other type of roofing. In fact, Met-Tile's panel design helps to deaden sound transmission because only a small portion of the roofing actually touches the structure.

Every CD in our exciting collection is different. Some CDs contain vibrating tones, which evolve throughout the recording. Others contain a form of "white noise", like the sound from a circling helicopter. Other recordings contain a gentle rainfall backing track. No helmets with horns have ever been found in all of the Viking warrior gear that researchers have found. In fact, Vikings rarely wore helmets at all!

Solid horns can be exchanged at the Exchange Quest for 500 experience. While this is not much at higher levels, you can bring a level 10 player into the Exchange Quest and constantly get around 500 exp for every 100 horns. This is most likely the fastest way to level up at early levels, although it can be quite expensive if you do not gather the horns yourself. Zombie's Lost Teeth, Jr. Yeti Skins, and Hector Tails are also popular choices, as they provide better rewards than Solid Horns.

So far, all these utilities and programs have been created by ourselves in our spare time and, at this point, we have neither the hardware nor the software to develop Mac versions. Victoria Woodhull probably spoke with a Midwestern accent, because she didn't reside outside of Ohio until she was 15 or 16 years old. Her voice has been described as "clear and melodious." When making fun of her, contemporary reporters emphasized trilled R's in her speech. Victoria had two children by her first husband, Dr. Woodhull. They are Byron Woodhull, born December 31, 1854, in Chicago, IL, and Zula Maud, born April 28, 1861, at 53 Bond Street in New York City.

I recorded it for a few reasons. First off, people had been telling me for years that I sounded like David Gahan. I don't agree nor disagree with this. I figured why not try something Depeche Mode? At the very least it would be fun to play live. So I did. The reason the song is so basic and "empty" and not so very "apraxia-like" if because I want people to get their own ideas about how that song should be done. A National Endowment for the Humanities grant allowed me to build a time machine, and the resulting extensive library of recordings will bear fruit in my Anglo-Saxon Drinking Songs CD, to be released next year. Sadly, I was unable to bring my camera equipment into the theatre when I tried to get the first production of Hamlet on film. OK, my little joke. We don't really have any way of knowing how English was pronounced before the invention of sound recordings.

Our band has certainly reached the end of where we've been at for the last couple of albums. I want to see what else we can do with it, take it to the next level; I think that's what we've got to do.

However many of Southern Death Cult's Goth followers remained true even when they entered their 'The Cult' glam metal phase.

No. Both male & females have horns but when they are calves, most of the time the horns are removed so the cows don't hurt anyone or each other.
