From my personal experience I honestly believe that the Spanish Mastiff has got less problems than many others Molossian dogs, for examples types of dysplasia, skin problem, callus, teeth or other, which are very evident in other Molossian dog breed. Of course with the Spanish Mastiff, being a dog of big size, it is important to place great attention on the skeletal development of the puppy, but this is a must towards any dog of giant breed.
