Recommended arrival time for domestic flights is at least 75 minutes prior to departure. US and non-stop transpacific allowance is two pieces of checked baggage totaling 106 inches (sum of the three dimensions). Baggage allowance within China is one piece of baggage not over 44 pounds per person. For domestic flight within China, there is a 1 bag check-in allowance at 20kgs/44lbs. Carry-on is limited to piece and can not exceed 20x40x55cm or weigh more than 5kgs/11lbs.

Charter airlines are usually more restrictive when it comes to the weight of your baggage. You may be able to pay extra at the airport to increase your allowance, but this can be expensive. All cabin baggage must be of a size that fits either under the seat in front or in the overhead lockers. Note: "Wheelie" bags with built-in wheels and retractable handles will be permitted as cabin baggage provided they are within 45 inches overall limit.
