The car must be working - - we do not have the capability to repair cars, not even minor repairs. A current emission test, the title and the title holder(s) have to accompany the car to our office at 104 Southeast Parkway. There we will have you fill out a gift form. We will provide a tax donation letter based on the value of the car as provided by the Kelley Blue Book value.

Most states require a clear title to the vehicle and some states also require a notarized signature or additional forms to complete a vehicle donation. If you cannot locate or have lost the certificate of title, we can help you obtain the proper documentation and forms.

On October 22, 2004, the President signed the American Jobs Creation Act, 2004, into law. It became effective January 1, 2005. Charities must disclose to their donors and the IRS the gross proceeds raised on the sale of their donated vehicle when the vehicle sells for $500.00 or more; Donors must use the gross selling price reported by the charity as the vehicle's value for tax purposes if the vehicle sells for $500.00 or more.

While meeting emissions has never been an objective of our chip to prevent any compromises in meeting maximum performance objectives, meeting objective 3 of our design philosophy above just happens to produce an emissions compliant exhaust because the air/fuel ratios have not changed to affect a stringent emissions test such as the stringent California 15 and 25 mph rolling dyno test because we are in a low load region of the fuel maps.

The CAP is an auxiliary of the United States Air Force, but our funding is very limited. Smog is a general term used to describe a mixture of air pollutants, dominated by ground-level ozone and particulate matter. Ozone is created when nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds combine in the presence of sunlight - which is why smog is primarily a summer phenomenon, occuring mostly in southern Ontario. Fine particulate matter is primarily formed from chemical reactions in the atmosphere and through fuel combustion. It can elevate smog levels during all months of the year.

You will need an emissions inspection when you first register your vehicle and every two years when you renew. This applies only in the following Washington counties: Clark, King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Spokane. Hybrid vehicles that get 50 mpg or better mileage are exempt, as are vehicles newer than five years old or older than 25 years.

In the case of FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC Vantage and BEC Higher, candidates who achieve the grades A, B or C, and in the case of BEC Preliminary and KET and PET candidates with Pass with Merit and Pass, all receive a certificate.

Kentucky issues certification based upon completion of an approved certification program. You need to contact a Kentucky college or university. An advisor will evaluate your transcript and outline a curriculum contract listing specific coursework needed. Since each college or university has their own requirements, and Kentucky uses standards-based preparation, you may want to contact several institutions.

Anyone can be a potential organ and tissue donor, from newborns to senior citizens (roughly 80 years old). Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis at the time of death and may be affected by medical/social history, cause of death, etc.

Determine what charity or kind of charity you want to donate to. The amount of your tax deduction is determined by how the vehicle is used. Information about how your vehicle may be used should be provided by the charity upon request. So this may be a factor in your decision.

A charity will most likely sell the vehicle and use the proceeds for programs; however, some will fix the car and donate it to a family in need or use it for auto repair training.
