If you complete your ABE Diploma as a result of the November 2002 or subsequent examinations you will automatically be upgraded to Associate Membership and will be entitled to use the letters AMABE after your name, providing your annual membership subscription is up to date. Associates will receive the ABE journal Business Executive four times a year.

Yes. Students who are not high school graduates may satisfy the high school graduation requirement by submitting the California Certificate of Proficiency or the General Educational Development (GED) certificate or equivalent certificates awarded by other states. A "pass" on the California Certificate of Proficiency Examination is considered equivalent to graduation from high school.

Answer: Yes, you will go to Adult Ed ? Only for the testing but remain on home school studies until you complete your GED.

The tests measure important knowledge and skills (such as your ability to understand and apply information; to evaluate, analyse, and draw conclusions; and to express ideas and opinions in writing) that are usually acquired during a regular high school program of study. The tests contain questions that require the use of important ideas and thinking skills; few of the questions ask for isolated details, definitions, or specific facts.
