Assuming your PDF is all text and not a scanned image, you can use the TouchUp Text Tool in Acrobat and drag it over the area of text you wish to copy. Once you have the entire area highlighted, right click your mouse and choose Copy. Then open the program you wish to copy the text into and right click your mouse and choose Paste.

Although you can copy and paste from MS Word we do not advise or support it, this is due to the amount of extra code that Word adds in. Using text pasted from Word can also lead to the email not being received correctly.

Copying and pasting from word doesn't work well, because Word inserts dirty HTML. Either you can edit the source code to clean this up, OR you can first copy and paste from Word to Notepad, and then copy and paste from Notepad to the component. You will lose all your formatting in the process, but will also lose all the dirty HTML.

Adobe Acrobat can be used to convert any document to Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). In most programs, you can use the "Print" command and choose "Adobe PDF" as the printer to use. This does not print out the document, but rather causes it to be converted into a PDF. There is a related program called "Acrobat Distiller" which can make more complex PDFs such as encrypted PDFs. Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Distiller are installed on all lab computers.

PDF is used more frequently than Word to publish documents online. Follow the steps to convert a Word document into a PDF document: To save a word document as a pdf open the word file. Click on the file menu and choose print. Change the printer name from cluster double sided to adobe pdf. Click ok. Although you are in a Print Dialog Box, the "OK" button will not print the document. It will prompt you to save the document as a PDF file.

Yes you can. To do this, start by clicking on the thumbnail image in order to enlarge it to its full size. Then, (if you are using Windows) right mouse click on the image and click copy. In Word, right mouse click over the area you want the image to be, and click paste. If you are using Mac, choose control click to select the copy and paste functions. Once an image is copied into another document, it is still subject to the terms specified in our terms of use.
