Enter the maintenance mode by pressing and holding the "0", "2", and "start" key at the same time, then release the "start" key. Once in maintenance mode, use the incline down key to scroll to the parameter "LST DCK". 4500, 4000 models press the "heart" key once. Wipe down the running belt, deck, motor cover, and console casing with a damp cloth. Never use solvents, as they can cause damage to the treadmill. Make sure the power cord is not underneath the treadmill or in any other area where it can become pinched or cut. Check the tension and alignment of the running belt. The most important issues for maintenance are the lubrication and alignment of the running mat. The mat alignment can be adjusted via the adjusting bolts at the back of the treadmill. Exact details are given in your user manual. For Tunturi and Ultim8 treadmills use a "wet" lubricant on the underside of the mat. This must be the correct lubricant as shown in the owner's manual.
