Jeffrey Flocker holds a master's degree in physical therapy and is certified massage therapist. He has completed the small animal rehab certification course through the University of Tennessee Veterinary School and is a CCRP-certified canine rehab practitioner. This certificate program is the equivalent of an advanced practice specialty. He has also completed all courses taught by the Canine Rehab Institute in Wellington, Florida Tracker--total hip placement which failed and 2 femoral fractures.

Requirements vary from state to state. Currently 29 states have certification or licensing requirements, Florida, Nebraska, New York, Oregon and Washington, have strict licensing requirements. Some states leave the regulation process to county or city offices. Most common massage schools offer programs of 500 to 1000 hours, depending on state requirements. Students learn anatomy and physiology, pathology, kinesiology, evaluation and assessment skills, and a variety of massage techniques.

Since 2000, all physical therapy schools transitioned to a Master degree program. Within the last decade more and more schools are transitioning to Clinical Doctorate programs. It is the goal of the American Physical Therapy Association to have every physical therapist obtain a doctorate degree by the year 2020. All physical therapy programs are just as intense and competitive as medical school. Much of the same information is taught, with more emphasis on body function and biomechanics.

A First, you should look for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Only therapists who hold a marriage and family therapist license meet the professional standards of MFTs in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Second, you should look for Clinical Membership in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).

Physical therapists (PT's) and physical therapist assistants (PTA's) are licensed by their respective states.

Applicants for Art Therapy training should normally be graduates in art and design but qualified teachers, social workers, psychologists and other professionals with a commitment to the practice of the visual arts are also considered. The physician qualifications are consistent with the ACR Standard for Performing and Interpreting Computed Tomography, in effect January 1, 2002.

Ergonomist may have a background in kinesiology, physiotherapy, psychology, engineering, medicine, computer science, or occupational therapy. Ergonomists receive specific education and training in ergonomics theory, methods, concepts and principles from a qualified university or educational institution.

We are looking for motivated individuals who will take initiative to move the team forward. A portion of the projects are focused on technical aspects and require the prior knowledge of structural design/analysis and CAD. However a large portion of projects deal mainly with green building, and will require research, cost analysis, and innovation. These skills can be attained through experience with the team.

We strongly feel that favorable outcomes require continuity of care and a trusting relationship between your therapist. Having said that we make every effort to provide you with the opportunity to follow through with the same therapist. The only exceptions would be if your therapist is going on a vacation or is unable to be present because of sickness.
