The address book is incompatible because the field names are different. You will have to export your address book to an excel file, change the field names, and then import it into Outlook 2001. The step-by-step process is below. It took me a couple of tries, so I included my tips in the instructions below. Save as "Text (tab Delimited)," which will probably be the default choice.

If you have your files on an old Mac with a SCSI drive internal or external; and your new Mac does not have a SCSI external connector or use SCSI drives internally, what can you do?
