Please go to the Pivot® Software Upgrade Center to download upgrade version 6.01 Pivot? software. Make sure original Pivot software that was bundled with PV series monitor was installed on Windows XP. Because the upgrade version will verify the previous software. Run 601Fup.exe execution file, then follow the instruction on the screen to complete installation. Please see attached file for detail information.

The word on rec.photo.digital is that the best way to clean the LCD screen is with plain old scotch tape. Press the tape onto the screen and pull it off slowly. The adhesive pulls off all of the grime and fingerprints and leaves no residue. Your display settings exceed the capabilities of the LCD monitor. You must reduce the settings. Reconnect the original monitor into the video card and reboot to Windows. Reduce the refresh rate to 60hz and reduce the resolution to 640x480 pixels. Reconnect the LCD monitor back into the video card and boot the computer. You should have a picture at this time. You may or may not need a new LCD screen if the LCD screen is dim. If your LCD screen is dim it may be as a result of either 1) a faulty backlight or 2) a faulty inverter. So to convert 15ms into hz it would be 1 / (15 ms * 1 s / 1000 ms) = ~67hz Here is a small chart detailing some of the more common LCD ms ratings and their relationship to Hz.
