There are a couple of things you must do to prepare your Web site before submitting them to Search Engines. First, you need to insert Meta Tags on each of your pages. Meta Tags include a title, short description, and common keywords about the contents of your web page. These tags inform the Search Engines what your page is about and will tell them how to search for it. Select "Meta Tags" from the File menu in EZ-PageBuilder to create your Meta Tags. Once your site has been submitted to the top Search Engines they may require several weeks, or even months to actually spider and list your web site in their directory. How fast your site is listed depends on each individual Search Engines database update schedule. Watch your server traffic logs for visiting spiders. We suggest you use Guaranteed Search Engine Submit.

The answer can be many reasons. If your site is fairly new, you need to manually submit to search engines for them to find your site and index it on their database. However, it can take up to 6 months for them to visit your site. (Contact us to learn a faster way to get your site indexed) Even if your site was indexed by search engines, because of millions of sites on the web, even if someone types in a search term query, your site might be coming up on 500th page where no human being can find.
