Gippsland campus - Binishell on Gippsland Campus (please note Gippsland is at least a 2 hour drive from Melbourne and graduands must arrange their own transport) You can choose where you would like to graduate. You do not have to graduate at your campus of study. The venue for all ceremonies at the Clayton campus is the Robert Blackwood Concert Hall, designed by Sir Roy Grounds and named for the university's first chancellor, Sir Robert Blackwood.

Exiting students are presented with their Certificates either in class or in a special ceremony. There are usually activities organised by the teachers and student advisor to celebrate the end of a course study period, particularly at the end of February and the end of June prior to the beginning of the Monash semesters, and at the end of the year in December.

UDM has one commencement ceremony per year which is held in May on the McNichols Campus. Students who graduate in December or plan to graduate in May, June or August are invited to attend the ceremony if their Application for Graduation has been received and approved.

The main consideration is for you to be comfortable in relation to the weather and activities. Please keep in mind that you will be walking across a stage area to receive your award and to shake hands. There is always a wide range of clothing styles from very dressy to casual, and we respect your family’s decision about appropriate attire.

Students who intend to participate in the graduation ceremony should sign up to do so at the UNLV Bookstore; this will ensure a seat is reserved for each participating graduate. (Students usually sign up to participate at the time they purchase the cap, gown, and tassel, which are typically available about six weeks before each ceremony. Students will be notified by mail when the regalia is available for purchase.

KC has formal graduation exercises in December, May, and August. It is generally expected that graduates will participate in the ceremony at the end of the semester in which degree requirements are completed, with the exception of Summer I graduates, who may participate in the May or August ceremonies. Summer I graduates wishing to participate in the May commencement ceremony must apply for graduation by March 1.
