Choose "Reply a Post" when you browse a post and you will be brought to a well-interfaced reply page. You can also choose to click "Quick Reply"at the bottom of the forum(if available). Please note: you usually have to be logged in before you can post a reply.

Is it auto-acks you're receiving (the ones that start with "This is an automatic acknowledgment that your message has been RECEIVED..."), or article approved/rejected notifications?. You can suppress the auto-acks, but not the approved/rejected notifications. You need to talk to your ISP or Usenet news service provider about that. They probably failed to specify that NANABl is a moderated newsgroup in their news server's configuration.

I read everything I am sent; however, sometimes, I don't have time to reply and the E-mail gets backed up in a pile of read messages. By the time I can clear my way back to the old E-mails, it's been over a month and I feel so very guilty that I end up totally not replying to the E-mail. Rest assured, though, your E-mail was read and appreciated - it's just a time issue for replying. I should note, that spam (many of the same letters), forwards, and blank E-mails are not answered.

Please note that, depending on how your mail client is configured, replies to posts to the list will go to the sender, not the list. I feel this is wrong, as the list is primarily a discussion list, but the topic has been beaten to death, and the decision made. You can't and this is a feature that will never be implemented either. I started the Mailfilter project to prevent e-mail abuse in general not to give people a weapon to fight fire with fire. Apart from that it would be considered a criminal offense in most countries (including the one I'm living in) to answer a mail bomb with your own mail bomb.

So-called auto-responder or "out of office reply" is handy if you are away or for some reason cannot read email for a period. People who send email to you will get a reply that the email is received, but will not be read or answered promtly. The auto-responder function is connected to each email account. If you have several email addresses that are assigned to the same email account, the auto-responder comprises all these email addresses.

This is a philosophy discussion group and there's really no need for this kind of behaviour, but still, it happens. Don't waste your energy on it. Either reply calmly asking for clarification, or ignore it and devote your time to something more constructive instead.

You may send a private message to another member who has elected to receive private messages by viewing the member's profile and clicking the "Send [username] a Private Message!" link, or by clicking the [new message] button in the private messaging section of the Member's Center. You have the option of saving a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder.

Using the Web component of the application you are unable to receive replies to the SMS you send. If you require replies to be received please use Email to SMS. For more info on Email to SMS click here.

Check your "from" address You are sending from the wrong email address. Communigate will only send messages to the list from valid subscribers and is blocking your posts. This keeps us from being spammed. Trust me, this is a good thing. This feature stops about 3-5 random spams a week from getting to you via our list. If this is the problem, wait. I have an auto-reply that will respond to you next time I check my mail.

Like most fans, the only thing I get out of running this list is enjoyment. So you won't ever receive any junk mail from this server. There will be some advertising from Onelist, who are providing the listserver free of charge. Members who have been on Onelist longer assure me that they haven't received any advertising.

Two ways. First, you can add the code frie in the beginning of your pic's caption or text message (e.g., FRIE This pic is for my friends' eyes only!). Your friends will receive the pic with the caption "This pic is for my friends' eyes only!" The second way to share a pic with only your nowthen friends is to email the pic from your cell to frie@nowthen.com.

There is currently a known issue regarding forum posts and group mode. Currently if a forum is set to Visible or Seperate group mode then students will be unable to reply to forum posts. This bug has been submitted to moodle.org but the status of the issue is currently pending with no estimated date for a fix.
