Our tools have an upload feature that allows you to easily add photos from your computer to your website. TotSites will automatically resize your images to best fit with our designs. If you would prefer you can turn the auto resize feature off so you have total control.

You can upload images of any size, portrait or landscape, but we do resize them so their longest dimension is 640 pixels. We do not keep your original print quality image, only our resized screen-quality version. Ideally images shouldn't have the longest dimension less than 480 pixels, while we might accept such images if they hold particular interest, we would really prefer a larger image.

Many digital cameras include a program which allows you to edit your photos, including resizing them to specific sizes. Also, there are several excellent, free programs available for image editing and resizing. Two are listed below:

Be very careful when resizing. The picture size that you deliver should be driven by intended use of the photograph. If you want the recipient only to use them on-screen (meaning not to print them), you can easily resize them to 640x480 or 800x600 and they will be fine. If, on the other hand, you want the recipient to be able to print them, don't resize them at all. Leave them as-is.

You can add as up to 5 photos in your main profile and up to 5 photos in your Private Collection gallery. Only one photo can be set as your primary photo. Your primary photo will be the one that is seen first by other members viewing your profile.

Our Site Manager has an upload feature that allows you to easily add photos from your computer to your JoyShareSite.

Add photos as frequently as you like. Simply sign in, and click edit in the manage photos section. A minimum of 1 photo must be stored at all times. New photos must be approved by Streamate Limited support staff.
