JQS workshop intensives are two days in length, and the self-study course may take up to three months to complete. However, as with any skill, continual practice is vital for the effectiveness of a JQS practitioner. The Jing-Qi-Shen Foundation requires each student and workshop participant a minimum of 80 hours of healing facilitations before considering a student proficient in the basic essentials of JQS.

Yes, anyone can learn JQS. Self-study students and workshop participants come from all walks of life including: home executives, school teachers, members of the clergy, chiropractors, holistic health practitioners, massage professionals, physical therapists, physicians, and nurses.

Learning varies with individuals. Most people learn the alphabet and numbers in about an hour, but usually not more than two hours. The tutorial, in the manual we provide, walks you through the alphabet at your own pace. Once you become familiar with the chords (chords are the finger combinations used to type), you can refer to the convenient Reference Guide which has all the commonly used chords on a single two-sided sheet. Then, just start typing!

Yoga is not a subject that is learnt to a certain level upon which one is "qualified." It is a subject which has a beginning but no end - the more one progresses in one's practice, the more the subject opens up and the more one realises there is more to be learnt, absorbed and applied. This completely depends on the person and circumstances. Some people have a lucid dream just a few nights after learning about it (without any specific effort), while some people can take months! ANS: Since the Qwerty arrangement is not logical or intuitive, learning it is like learning non-sensical letter arrangements - requiring repetition and drill, for weeks and months. Truth is, Qwerty wasn’t designed for ease of learning.

Learning the computer is easy. Working with a hand keyboard (for home practice only) it takes only a few days until you are completely comfortable with the computer. Then you practice with the shoes. Allow yourself about two months of practice-what takes time is not learning the computer (that's simple), but practicing with the shoes takes a few weeks working 1-2 hours a day. (Compare that to learning a count system-that takes about 6 months to a year.)
