The shoes, clogs, and boots have removable insoles. Remove these and wash the footwear with mild soap and water, then dry with a paper towel. Replace the insoles inside the footwear and you're back in business. To clean the insoles hand wash with mild soap and water, gently wring out, and lay flat on the counter to dry over night. The sandals can get wet but the way to clean them is with a damp paper towel, a handiwipe, etc.

Though all of our shoes are made here in the USA, the sandals are handmade. Each part is hand cut, dyed, sewn, the holes are hand-punched, the buckles hand attached. Because of the amount of labor involved, they're more expensive. The sandals do all the same wonderful things as the others in our line but they have a leather upper.

Yes, the shoes are molded and it's common to see slight color variations, esp. in the darker colors. This is not a defect nor will it hinder the function of the shoes. The sandal tops are often made from a different leather lot than the footpad which could result in a slight difference in shades.

We recommend comfortable walking shoes for all our tours. Sandals would have to be hiking sandals not beach sandals especially for our Yosemite tour.

You can clean your shoes with soap and warm water. For wheels, you can use WD-40, but do NOT use water, as the bearings will rust.

Use a slightly damp cloth to remove excess dirt. Dry naturally, away from direct heat. The leather will remain soft and supple with ECCO® Daily Care Cream. For instant shine use ECCO® Shoe shine sponge. Before wearing for the first time, use ECCO® Universal Waterproofing Spray, to help protect them. Use ECCO® Nubuck & Suede Eraser or ECCO® Suede Brush to remove dust and dirt and restore the nap to the shoe. Heavy stains can be removed with a ECCO® Foam cleaner.

Sandals doesn't have their own parasail equipment but there are roving boats that pick up resort guests and take them to a proper boat for this. Just look for a boat going back and forth that says Sky Ride or something and wave them down. It's $40.00 for a single and $70.00 per couple. It's a blast and something you should definitely try. They guys know what they are doing and gave me such a gentle ride I brought my camera up with me.

Snorkeling and sailing on the Hobie Cat's are my current favorites. Evenings at the Piano bar sucking down Red Stripes would be third and the trips to Ricks Cafe via the Juta Tour bus or the Jolly Mermaid party boat would be fourth. Yes, both dressy and casual styles, but stay away from reinforced heel and/or toe. Also, toeless and footless hose are an option. Only exercise can get rid of cellulite, but hosiery can provide compression and help camouflage unsightly cellulite. The pharmaceutical industry has developed certain lotions and creams to fight cellulite and some hosiery products have simply been treated with these lotions. These products are only as effective as the lotions and/or creams are.

Yes. While many men prefer the wide strap designs, all of my designs work equally well for men and women and look great on every foot. While I refer to certain styles as having narrow straps or wide straps, I actually cut the straps slightly narrower for smaller feet and slightly wider for larger feet.

That's kind of like asking how long is a piece of string? I have many customers who are wearing sandals that are ten, fifteen or twenty years old. I also have had people wear their sandals out in two or three years. How long they will last will depend on how hard you are on them, where you wear them, and how you take care of them. With average wear, care and repair, a pair of sandals should last between five and ten years.

Yes. All of the styles except #6's and #10's, which are not available for internet/mail order, are fully adjustable. The straps on my sandals are all one piece and can be pulled to make them looser or tighter as needed. Sandals come with complete instructions and diagrams for doing the adjustment. It's not needed very often, and hardly ever after the first couple of months, but you will need to fine-tune the fit when you first receive them and again a few weeks later.
