According to the State of California, Test-Only Stations are privately-owned Smog Check stations licensed by the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) to inspect and certify most vehicles, including Gross Polluters. While they can perform oil changes and lubrication services, they are prohibited from providing any repair services.

Test-and-Repair Stations are licensed to test, inspect, repair, diagnose, adjust and repair failed vehicles. Vehicles directed to a Test-Only Station may not be tested for certification at a Test-and-Repair Station.

Smog is a general term used to describe a mixture of air pollutants, dominated by ground-level ozone and particulate matter. Ozone is created when nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds combine in the presence of sunlight - which is why smog is primarily a summer phenomenon, occuring mostly in southern Ontario. Fine particulate matter is primarily formed from chemical reactions in the atmosphere and through fuel combustion. It can elevate smog levels during all months of the year.

Yes. A home inspection will eliminate construction oversights that occur when some components or systems are inadvertently omitted. Common oversights include incomplete electrical systems, incomplete plumbing, gutters that are incorrectly installed, missing roofing components, fireplaces that are incomplete and many others. The reasons construction oversights occur vary from inadvertent omissions to just plain bad construction practices.

Distance requirements exist only for wells drilled into those groundwater basins for which the OWRB has determined a maximum annual yield. Current rules state that the spacing distance for those wells (other than domestic) is 1,320 feet from any other authorized well owned by another party. Maximum annual yield studies have been completed on many of Oklahoma's major and minor groundwater basins.

The NAB is always working to add more counting stations. The NAB will continue its efforts to enlist additional volunteers to its network of certified counting stations so that most areas of the country are represented.

If the climate and geography are similar, the counts should be a good indicator for your area. Keep in mind that samples taken from an urban area, where there is little vegetation, can differ from samples taken from a rural area, where there is more pollen producing vegetation.

A complaint can be lodged in any Police Station. After registration of the FIR, the Police Station registering the complaint can transfer the FIR to the jurisdictional Police Station / AWPS for investigation.
