Popcorn ceilings can often times be painted to improve their look. Age and condition play a major part in whether or not they can be painted safely. In some cases popcorn ceilings have been known to literally fall down in sheets when painted. The problem lies in the makeup of the popcorn texture itself, not in the paint, or the painting process. Popcorn ceiling textures are made with a chalk based substance that is very lightweight.

Yes. We often refinish ceilings to a custom color, most commonly in restaurants and retail spaces. All we need is the color from any major paint manufacturer's fan deck, and we will have our coating tinted to match it.

Most Celestial Ceilings are completed in about a half day. We cover up everything with drop cloths after you've removed any valuables from the room. The windows get black plastic over them to get the room pitch-dark while Starman paints the Celestial Ceilings. We'll leave your home later that day without a trace. Yes. The Phoenix Historic Preservation Commission does not regulate paint colors inside or out. Should you want to remove paint from a masonry house the Historic Preservation Office recommends that you do not use abrasives, such as sandblasting or any other "blasting method", but instead consider a chemical paint remover.

It is done all the time. The standard white coating can be tinted to match a pastel color by any paint store. Any other color is available on a special order basis.

Pets can only be one color at a time. This means that if you have a Blue pet and paint it Strawberry, it will be red and Strawberry--it will not be a blue strawberry! If your pet is Blue and you paint it with a Yellow Paint Brush, it will not actually turn out Green. If it is Skunk and you paint it with a Faerie Paint Brush, it will not be a Skunk with pink wings. You can definitely wrap any of our traps with fabric, and in most cases you can paint them too. As long as you apply only one or two coats of paint you will not harm the performance of our standard trap models. However, you should not paint the front surface of MicroTraps or HF style traps as that will reduce their high frequency absorption.
