There is a British standard sized fireplace, 16" wide x 22" high, most inset fireplace are designed to fit this size. The fireplace must also be hooked-up to a fresh air intake that enables combustion air to come from outside the house. Osburn freestanding stoves model 1000, 1100, 1600, 1800, 2200, and 2400 are approved for installation in a mobile home. You need to purchase a fresh air kit, which can be found in the accessories section.
