A student who is later admitted to a graduate program at the University of Washington may apply a maximum of 12 applicable GNM credits (or any combination of GNM and up to six approved transfer credits totaling 12 credits) towards a master's degree. Transfer credits are not applicable towards a doctoral degree. Six- and ten-year limits for master's and doctoral degrees commence at the point of enrollment in the first GNM course which is later applied for credit toward degree requirements.

UNLV does not have a specific program for foreign-trained dentists. Our program will require starting from the beginning and completing the four-year training. The application procedure is the same for all prospective students—applying through AADSAS, submitting DAT scores, letters of evaluation, etc. If National Boards have been taken, it may be used in lieu of the DAT but will be determined on an individual basis.

In lieu of a graduate degree, an individual may submit evidence demonstrating the ability to design and execute a research project in anthropology, archaeology, or history, including the collection and analysis of information, presentation of results in an approved and reviewed format, and the subsequent curation of specimens.

You do not need to possess a degree in nutrition to apply to the Master's program. For the online Certificate of Sports Nutrition, you must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in nutrition, exercise physiology, kinesiology, or sports medicine or related fields such as biology, physical therapy, and nursing. For both programs, you must have a Bachelor's degree and have completed the prerequisites and received grades for these courses within the past ten consecutive years at an accredited U.S.

All Biology graduate students are fully supported either by teaching assistantships, training grants, or research fellowships. Students earn a stipend ($24,000 for academic year 2006-2007), health insurance, and tuition benefits. Funding is guaranteed for the first five years as long as a student remains in good academic standing and research is progressing at a satisfactory pace.
