You will be able to Log In and Log Out of the course 24 hours a day from any Internet accessible computer using your Driver License Number to Log In. This way the course can be completed at your convenience and all your progress will be saved. You are able to take the course for as long as it takes you to complete the course, even if it takes several months.

Yes, you will have the option to print your certificate online or save to a file folder as soon as you submit the exam and have successfully answered 60% of the questions. We will also mail your certificate via US Post upon an email request. Your Certificate is your proof of completion and dose not have to be submitted to the DRE however it should be kept for at least four years.

You may print out your certificates of completion for the courses you have taken from "My Account" on the top menu bar.

Once you complete all 12 chapters of the California Traffic School Course, you must take a final exam. The questions on the final exam are based on the material you have covered throughout the course. You only need to answer 80% of the questions correctly in order pass the course. Best of all, you can retake the final exam as many times as you need at no additional cost.

The final exam may be taken three times. If you do not pass the final exam on the third try, you will need to re-enroll in the online course and pay a new registration fee to take the course again.

You must meet the experience requirement which is one year of accounting. This experience may be in public, private, governmental or academia. If you are planning to perform attestation functions, you will be required to complete 375 hours of the 2000 hour requirement in a licensed firm, performing compilation, audit or reviews. Further you must complete an Ethics course to be determined by the board. You must request an application from the board and submit it along with a fee of $50.

After you have completed all ten units of the course and paid the course fee, you will be able to access the final exam. From the course units index page, you will need to click on the link at the bottom that says "Take final exam." You will then be given the choice to review the material you have just learned or go directly into the exam. When you choose to take the exam, you will be asked 40 questions that are drawn randomly from the material presented in the ten units of study.

You can take the final exam as many times as necessary in order to pass. There is no charge or penalty for retaking exams. In addition, your Account page will not indicate how many times it took you to pass the final exam or what final score you received.

When you choose to take the exam, you will be asked 20 questions that are drawn randomly from the material presented in the six units of study.

First of all, nobody fails the course. It simply takes some student's more tries than others. If you do not pass a Quiz or Final Exam, the page will reload and your incorrect answers will appear in red. You may then re-take the Quiz or Final right away or review the previous Section and then take the Quiz or Final Exam over. You have as many tries as needed to pass the course. Only if you would like to. You have the ability to Log OUt and Log In anytime and as often as you want.

If you should not pass we will notify you by phone (if possible) or by mail ASAP. We will inform you of the incorrect answers so you may take the exam again, along with faxing or mailing a new exam answer sheet to you ASAP. You may take as long as you would like to complete it, but please allow for enough time for the exam to arrive and be graded, so you stay within you renewal date. Your completion date reflects the date we receive a PASSING score in our office.

If you pass, and complete your final exam, prior to 2PM PST Monday thru Friday. Your certificate of completion will be printed, and mailed that same day. If you complete after 2pm PST on Friday, your certificate will not be processed until the following Monday. If you chose In Person ID Verification, you can either fax, or mail (if you have the time ) your completed final exam answer sheet along with the completed, and signed notary verification form to the Traffic School.
