The IROM Department will accept either the GMAT or the GRE. For your scores to be acceptable, you must have taken the exam within the last five years. You must take the exam soon enough that the scores will arrive before the January 5 application deadline. The tests are standardized in that they are administered exactly the same way each time, wherever and by whom they are administered. Everyone is supposed to be given the exact same instructions in sufficient detail that no differences in administration would take place between a person administering the test in Manhattan to School 6 in Rochester, in Oneida Elementary or at a BOCES to home schooled students.
