This is a printing term used for digitally submitted files. Basically, it means that the images ready to be transferred to the printing plates. The printer does not have to make any alterations to your files.

This means that we can photo from your artwork (burn a plate) and proceed with the job. Does your camera have an orientation sensor? If your camera does, then there's a good chance that the rattle is the normal function orientation sensor. Do a few experiments tilting the camera and taking pictures to see if the sound of something moving in the camera correlates with the orientation sensor reporting a change of orientation.
