There is much research on this, but the results are sometimes inconclusive and contradictory. There aren't obvious matches either. Usually other factors play a more important role, such as religion, wealth, race, etc. Also, two conflicting types may still develop a relationship through hard work and dedication. For example, the hallmark of a xxxJ is punctuality. When paired with a xxxP, there are bound to be fights over "Who's late?" and "Who cares?".
