Technically you can use any Java enabled browser to participate in a Blackboard course. However we do make several recommendations: Users of AOL and CompuServe tend to experience more problems with disconnects and viewing out of date pages than the typical user. Successful use of AOL and CompuServe with Blackboard is possible.
