CAS is the part of the .NET security model that determines whether or not code is allowed to run, and what resources it can use when it is running. For example, it is CAS that will prevent a .NET web applet from formatting your hard disk.

The Health Coach-NutriScan® Health Assessment is a service provided by your Health Professional. The Health (Access) Code needed to enter the Health Coach-NutriScan Program will be issued to you by your Health Professional.

Your access code is a unique identifier you will use -- along with the last 4 digits of your social security number and your date of birth -- to log into MyChart for the first time. The first time you log in, you will click on the “New User” link and follow the instructions to enter your access code. (These codes require correct use of upper and lower case letters, so please enter them accurately. The access code will expire 30 days from the time it is generated.)

XML-RPC.NET needs a minimal set of Code Access Security (CAS) permissions, in particular networking permission to connect to a server. In the case of downloadable smart clients this could be restricted to connecting to the server from which the client was downloaded.
