RHPS was filmed in England primarily on a sound stage and in an old "castle" (which was the site for over 200 horror films, and has since been restored into a hotel). This castle is now the Oakley Court Hotel, located at Windsor Rd / Water Oakley / Windsor / Berkshire / SL4 5UR. You can call them at 01753 609988 or send them a fax at 01628 637011. They are very used to RHPS fans visiting them.

The show is primarily shot in two clusters of New Jersey towns, separated by the "I-80 parallel". A lot of the locations for "Ed" are in small towns within 30 miles of the show's Northvale headquarters; these include Oradell, Bergenfield, Hillsdale, Westwood, Glen Rock and Ridgewood. Some scenes from early episodes, use Nyack, New York, a town just north of the N.J.-N.Y. border. Farther south along the Garden State Parkway are some larger towns that are used - Westfield, Montclair and Nutley.

Season 1 of Monk was shot in Toronto, while Seasons 2-4 were shot in Los Angeles. There are also occasional but very infrequent location shoots, including in San Francisco, where the series is set.

Shooting switched between the famous Cinecitta studios just outside Rome and the town of Matera, in southern Italy. Matera is famous for an ancient district with caves, streets, and houses similar to Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. The film is produced by Icon Productions, and distributed by New Market Films.

Many people, largely perceived to be virgins, have taken it upon themselves to bring weird items, such as shaving cream, spaghetti, rocks, Toyota Tercels, etc. While this may be allowed by the theatre, it will unfailingly cause the majority of the crowd to consider the perpetrator (rightly) an idiot. Thinking of a new prop to use is fine; throwing something just for the sake of throwing something is stupid and possibly dangerous. Here is a semi-complete listing of the more popular items.

RHPS cast is a bit of plaster or fiberglass placed around a limb that has been broken during a showing. Okay. Bad joke. I apologize.

Originally there was The Rocky Horror Show Computer Game, released by Activision in 1985. Players assume the role of Brad or Janet and roam around the Frankenstein Place trying to find pieces of a machine to save the character not being played. It has a rockin' computerized version of Time Warp as background music. You only get one "life" and it's easy to "die", so the game can get a bit monotonous and frustrating at times. Worth picking up, tho'.

The majority of the shows that we represent are produced at various production facilities in the Los Angeles area - including studios in Burbank, Hollywood and Culver City. Smallville is presently filmed in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The pilot episode at least was shot in the small town of Merritt in British Columbia. Thanks to Emotional Hermit.

Most of the videos featured on this site (that are filmed by Jason Knutson) are filmed with a Sony TRV340 camera. The camera records Digital 8, resulting in high quality video. Videos filmed by Panther Modern are recorded in MiniDV format on a Panasonic DV-404.

Lost and Delirious was filmed on location in Montreal and at Bishop's University, Canada, but that doesn't mean that it is a university in the film. They just used the location and transformed it into a boarding house and high-school so the three girls are still in high school. As the name of the school never was mentioned it doesn't matter to much. All scenes shot in the room of Paulie, Tory and Mary B.
