While the Reports module standardizes all of the mailing labels on Avery's most common size of label, it is very easy to change the label size. All you have to do is utilize the label wizard that is found in the new version 3.0 with every report selection that has mailing labels as an option. Within the label wizard, you may select almost any Avery product as well as labels for other manufactures.

The size of the area of the sample depends on the type of label you have selected, while the text shown in it depends on the format (1 or 2) and the selected fonts. Although, theoretically you can adjust both formats to any type of label (adjusting the size of the fonts), normally you will use Format-1 for labels of 105x25.4 (or any other "long" label) and Format-2 for labels of 70x35 (or any other "less long" label). Yes. By choosing a paper size, and adjusting margins, columns, and rows you can make any size of uniformly arrayed rectangles, i.e., you can fit all of Avery's paper products using our software. For example, we make our own business cards using this product. We use the Avery 5371 paper. To make 2" x 3.5" cards, set columns to 2 and rows to 5. The EXCEPTIONS table has a field that can automatically suppress the production of labels. If you have not then after the upgrade from Autodocs 1.1 to 1.2 gone through your EXCEPTIONS table and added a "Yes" to the Produce Labels? field, then for those exceptional series, the label will be suppressed.
