Bassett recommends that all cribs manufactured prior to 1972 be replaced because improved safety features were instituted that year. If your crib was made in 1972 or after, replacement parts are available from Products America at 1-800-772-1041. If you are unsure when your Bassett crib was made, Bassett urges you to replace it.

You may wish to consider replacing your air conditioning or heating system if it is old, inefficient or in need of repair. Today's systems are as much as 60% more efficient than those systems manufactured as little as ten years ago. Most of Bassett's drawer pulls and decorative hardware are made by Keeler Brass Company in High Point, N.C. Each piece is marked on the back by "KBC" and an identifying number. You may contact Keeler Brass and provide them with this information and they will attempt to locate a replacement for you. They may need you to send them a sample.
