Most scanners come with software to control the scanner and to help store and organize scanned images. Once the image is scanned, simply Print it to the MightyFax Printer Driver. (note: use File > Print. In other words be sure you are "printing" to the MightyFax Printer Driver. Do not use "Send" or "Fax" if these options are provided by the scanner software) If the scan contains graphics, it may come out too dark once sent to MightyFax.

Answer: No. One copy will suffice. Your portfolio's progress is tracked by the BCG Office. You should keep a duplicate copy for your files, however. On rare occasions, mail services lose packages in transit.

You are welcome to send your information to us in whichever way you feel most comfortable, but we ask you to send it just once. If we receive your information many times (fax, email and/or post) it increases the possibility of confusion and possible double files, formulas and billing for formulas prepared and/or sent. You need the full version of Impact ColorFax to scan and fax every page in a single fax. Impact ColorFax Lite has limited features and cannot do this. With the full Impact ColorFax, you scan each page into a TIFF file and save each page into the same file. When you save each scanned page to the same file name, the program will prompt you "are you sure you want to overwrite the existing file?" You must click on "yes". The previous page will not be overwritten.

Letters of Intent will only be accepted by email. Letters of Intent submitted by hard copy or fax will not be accepted. Full proposals will only be accepted through grants.gov. Full proposals submitted by email, fax or hard copy will not be accepted. Graduate students may be included on applications. To send a fax, visit the Copy Center, Christensen Center, lower level. There is a fax machine available for outgoing faxes: local, long distance, and international. Cash basis only. To receive a fax, have it sent to 612–330–1649. Your full name and campus box number must be clearly stated on the cover sheet. Faxes arrive at the Incoming Mailroom, main level, Christensen Center. The fax will be put in your campus box.

Application materials do not need to be sent in all at once. You may send them in intervals as long as all materials are received before the deadline. With the online application you may stop and save the application and return later as many times as you please.

You can send the materials through the Online File Upload Form or through your email if you prefer; if the video format needs to be converted, we can arrange that for you.

No. We accept HARD COPY SNAIL MAIL submissions ONLY. I cannot afford to print scripts. Simply multiply the cost of paper and ink by the potential hundreds of scripts and you can answer your own question. Am I cheap? No, this program exists because of my commitment to help writers, not to support their paper, ink and mail costs. If you do send an email with an attachment, the attachment will not be opened. The email itself will probably not be opened.
