The Turkish Lira is the currency used in North Cyprus. Foreign currencies and travellers' cheques are accepted in banks and exchange offices. The Cyprus pound is now considered to be a foreign currency and is subject to foreign exchange regulations, though it is used as a parallel-market trading currency together with British pound and US dollar.

EuroCard/MasterCard is accepted at most financial institutions. Banks also accept VISA, American Express, and Eurocheques although with less regularity. At most banks the daily Eurocheque draft is limited to a maximum of 10000 SKK. International hotels also accept most credit cards. Banks and exchange offices will also exchange hard currency, and there is no limit to the amount of foreign currency that may be imported into Slovakia. Avoid exchanging money from individuals on the street.

Major credit cards are accepted by shops and restaurants. Visa and MasterCard are the most widely accepted. Discover is not accepted.

Credit cards VISA, MASTER CARD are acceptable in major banks, hotels, stores and restaurants (In Tashkent). In country cities most used cash payments.

Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted in Budapest. Diners Club is now associated with MasterCard, so it is accepted anywhere that takes MasterCard. American Express is still not accepted widely. On that note, American Express has closed their office here and subcontracts with Western Union. Smaller stores, restaurants, or tourist venues will usually not accept any cards at all. Outside of Budapest, you will have less opportunities to use credit cards. Always have some cash on you.

Credit cards such as American Express, Diners Club, JCB, Master and Visa are accepted at the local large hotels or tourist stores. You also can withdraw cash from most international banks and credit cards from ATM machines, but $2-4 USD surcharges apply for each transaction. You should be prepared, monetarily, to not have access to ATMs or banks while on your project.

Most hotels, restaurants and businesses accept major credit cards. Please be careful when and where you use your credit card. There have been incidents reported of double billings and other charges being billed to credit cards used by tourists while in the DR.

Transactions aboard the ship are in U.S. dollars. In The Bahamas and the Caribbean, U.S. dollars and major credit cards are accepted almost everywhere. But you won't need much cash (except for shoreside purchases), because Disney Cruise Line? has a convenient "cash-free" system on board the ship. When you arrive at the Walt Disney World? Resort or at the Disney Cruise Line? Terminal at Port Canaveral, your signature will be requested for check-in.

Most stores, hotels and restaurants in Scotland will accept credit cards. The most commonly accepted are Visa and Mastercard. Small stores may have a minimum transaction value before they will accept a credit card. It is always sensible to carry some cash in pounds sterling. ATMs (Automatic Teller Machines) are widely available and will work with your debit or credit card and four digit pin. Some machines will charge you so be sure to check what cards are accepted without charge.

However, it is possible to have someone else pay for you if this person fills in, signs and sends us a credit card authorization form (please, ask our managers to send you authorization form). If you'd like to pay by bank transfer please contact us and we will send you an invoice with our bank details. All bank transfers should be made at least 21 days before your check in date.

All banks in Alaska have the same features as they do in the other 49 states. Most banks in Alaska are part of national or regional chains. Visa and MasterCard are accepted statewide. Many businesses also accept Discover and American Express. Traveler's checks are usually accepted.
