Mart Tech Services - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The amount of air required by the gas combustion burner on the Tornado 60 Washing machine. This machine was shipped with a 380,000 BTU/hour capable burner. The amount of air required to burn natural gas is a fixed amount. Adding in about 3% excess air for safe combustion the rule of thumb is that it takes 10 cubic feet of air for every cubic foot of gas. Unless you know the BTU/cubic foot of natural gas in your area another rule of thumb is to use 1000 BTU/cubic foot.
Frequently Asked Global Change Questions
If we start with 1000 cubic feet of natural gas (and assuming it is pure methane or CH4) at STP (standard temperature and pressure, i.e., temperature of 273°K = 0°C = 32°F and pressure of 1 atm = 14.7 psia = 760 torr), and burn it completely, here's what we come up with: Since 1 mole of a gas occupies 22.4 L at STP, 28316.85 L of CH4 contains 28316.85/22.4 = 1264.145 moles of CH4 (each mole of CH4 = approx. 16 g) One mole of CO2 has a mass of approx. 44 g, so 1264.
Frequently Asked Questions About SmartVent
It varies on wind speed but is equal or greater than the required exhaust vents on the market when used at the soffits. CFM is very hard to compare apples to apples because of all the different variables. Everything would need to be exactly the same for the tests: Outside and Inside Temp., Pressure, wind, same ridge vent, same shingles, same inside living space conditions, same sun rays, etc. etc. etc……..That is why we feel that the industry has chosen NFA to compare products.

The ER1200 makes 1200 liters of gas per hour. There are 28 liters in a cubic foot. So the ER1200 will make 42.85 cubic feet per hour.

Generally speaking, for an adequate air exchange rate, you can expect up to 500 sq. ft. coverage for the SE400E, and around 700 sq. ft. for the SE800E. - based on moderate concentration levels w/ 8 ft. ceilings. Individual results will vary based on environmental variables. To find out how many of which air cleaner you need, try our air cleaner calculator in the Buyer's Guide.
FAQ Air treatment
During incomplete combustion of a fuel, air pollutants can be released. Many of these pollutants cause environmental problems. An example of an air pollutant that is emitted during combustion processes is sulphur dioxide. To prevent this problem we can switch over to fuels that contain less to no sulphur. We have been reviewing this problem for quite some time now and we have already switched on to natural gas instead of fuel oil for energy conversion, in most cases.
BTU rating is important if you are going to install a properly sized A/C unit to cool a certain well insulated area. CFM is important if you are going to install a properly sized large 110-volt Evaporative Cooler on the roof or in the side wall of a well insulated building so you can build up a negative pressure within a certain area so you can cool the entire area. Negative pressure cannot typically be built up in an area by using the limited resources of a 12-volt Portable Cooling Device.
ANASTASI - Hydronic & Thermal Eequipment - FAQ
Combustion is a chemical reaction of oxidation in which a FUEL (wood) is combined with an ACCELERANT (air) developing heat and light (THERMAL REACTION). A good combustion is obtained when air (rich in oxygen) is mixed in correct proportion with wood.

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions about the metric system
This water meter measures household water usage in cubic meters, with three decimal places plus a dial showing a fourth. There are 1000 liters in a cubic meter, so the seven-digit number is in liters. The liter was originally defined in 1795 as a volume equal to a cubic decimeter, just as it is now. But in 1901, the liter was redefined to be the volume occupied by a mass of 1 kilogram of pure water, at its maximum density and at standard atmospheric pressure.

Hi, Im building a second home on the Blue Ridge in North Carolina and doing some of the work myself. I've decided on an electric baseboard system for heating - cooling isn't needed there. My question is how do I determine the heat load (BTUs?) so I can choose the correct system. The Dec. through Feb. temp. averages 32 and the house will be well insulated. (dont have the exact r values yet) . The upstairs great room is around 500 sq feet and the two bedrooms are ab out 150 each.

Unless the baby has a foot disability or infection, normal foot grooming is all that is necessary. Be sure to wash the child's feet regularly (paying particular attention to the areas between the toes) and dry feet well. Moisture can be a breeding ground for bacteria. Always cut toenails straight across, but not too short; cutting too short can lead to ingrown nails. Finally, dusting feet with powder will help keep them dry.
Air Purifiers Center
There is a simple formula. One technical characteristic of an air purifier is the CFM (cubic feet per minute). If one air purifier has 400 CFM that means that it can filter 400 cubic feet of air in one minute. That means that applying a 70% coefficient that exclude the furniture in the room it will perform about 5 complete air changes an hour in a 7200 cubic feet room (30*30*8). Every 12 minutes you will get clean air.
The Barefoot FAQ
Walk barefoot. Walk barefoot some more. Go barefoot everywhere you can. Your soles, foot muscles, ligaments, and tendons are like any other parts of your body: you have to use them to develop them, otherwise they will atrophy. Note that you wouldn't need to build up your feet if you went barefoot from birth as nature intended. What you're actually doing by "building them up" is getting them back to their natural state.
PGOA - FAQ
The symptoms of arthritis which may include joint swelling, pain, tenderness, heat, redness, and/or limitation of motion, plus early morning stiffness, and skin rashes - often show up first in the feet? Since arthritis attacks the joints - and each of your feet has 33 joints - it is easy to understand how arthritis can seriously affect foot function. Fortunately; there is much you can do offset these effects on your feet and stay as active as you want to be.
