Most students walk to classes. It's often the fastest and the most direct method-and it's beautiful too! You'll find that many of your routes will leave you feeling like you're hiking in the forest. UCSC also has a great shuttle system - with weekday and weekend routes throughout the campus. There are also specialty shuttles to the Long Marine Laboratory, the local supermarket, and the Fremont BART station (which connects you to the San Francisco Bay Area).

Whilst the University does not teach a course called "Forensic Science" students can enter this career through Science or Medical Science. There are web sites on forensic science and forensic medicine. Students should avoid narrowly focused degrees labelled "forensic science" as career options in this area are very limited. Those interested in forensic psychology should be advised to take the Bachelor of Psychology or the Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology.

Generally the families live within 15 minutes by bus from the school. Taxis are very inexpensive and also a convenient way to get to school. A lot of families live within walking distance, depending upon the country. Most of the schools are located only a short distance from the downtown area.

The Richmond Hill campus, where freshmen and sophomores live and study, is about 7 miles or 35 minutes by Tube. The Kensington campus, where juniors and seniors live and study, is right in the heart of central London.

YES. Because of limited Work Study funding and financial aid eligibility requirements, not all students who apply for Work Study will receive it. If students are not awarded Work Study, they have some options: Contact the Financial Aid/Student Employment Office about Community Service Work Study opportunities. Contact the Financial Aid/Student Employment Office to be placed on a Work Study waiting list. If Work Study funds become available, students will be contacted.

Yes, there are computers available in the Library Media Center in the Commons area. Your Palette account and all needed software are available to you there. It is a very quiet place to study. However, there is only one instructional assistant available to help you if you have trouble.

In order to be accepted into the Postgraduate Programme, you must have obtained an undergraduate degree with a major in Psychology, or its equivalent. If you have an undergraduate degree but do not have a major in Psychology, you can enrol in the Graduate Diploma in Arts or Graduate Diploma in Science, at Massey University and take eight undergraduate papers which will give you the equivalent of a Psychology Major.
