Click on the Reserve List link on the Library homepage. This will tell you what titles are on reserve and what instructor has put those titles on reserve.

Internet Partners, Inc. has added a new secure version of Horde's IMP web based eMail program with OpenSLL Through IMP's intuitive interface, you'll be able to access and manage your IMAP mail account using the simplicity of a standard web browser using a secure connection from anywhere in the world via the Internet ( click here to access it now ). Some of the new features are the ability to send, and receive attachments through this interface, and to use a spell checker.

You can check your email from any computer connected to the Internet. Just configure an email program with the same incoming settings you have on your regular computer. There are, however, some special considerations: Sending Mail. To reduce spam, SpeedGate only processes outgoing email coming from computers on its own network. If the remote computer is on a SpeedGate dial-up account, be sure to set the outgoing (SMTP) server for dialup-smtp.speed.net.

Describe your assignment for the tutor (or include a URL to your assignment sheet, if your instructor has the assignment posted online.) Briefly give other relevant details included on your assignment sheet for this assignment, such as length, format required, and the due date. Ask the tutor a specific question about the assignment you are working on. Ideally the question should indicate what area you would like help with on your writing assignment.

You should send email through the "Communication" tools by clicking the "Send Email" icon.

Blackboard does not work well with hotmail. Students who have hotmail accounts should use an SDSU rohan email account instead. Obtain a rohan account by logging into the SDSU Web Portal and click on the button titled Get a ROHAN/Email account. Make sure to enter this new email address into the SDSU Web portal. This new email address will be automatically transferred to BB with 4 to 6 hours.

Faculty occasionally do not setup their email address in Blackboard. Check to see if others in your class can receive your email and then ask your instructor or professor if they have set up their email within Blackboard. If they say no, ask them to call the Blackboard Help line if they need help to do this. IMPORTANT - Students must set their email address in the SDSU Web Portal. Faculty must set their email address within Blackboard.

If you are unable to submit your assignments because of technical problems with the NCWC site or CampusCruiser groupware, call the instructor and leave a voice message. Leave your name, the time and the problem. Thoroughly check your connections before assuming the problem is with our website. Submit your assignment as soon as the problem has been corrected. The instructor will verify the problem and make adjustments if necessary. CAUTION: Do not wait until the last minute to submit your work.

In the SUBJECT line put: "your last name", IAP, "the semester in which you are enrolled", "describe the topic of your email" You are required to use your TC email account for any course correspondence, once the course begins..

The easiest and safest way to check your email is on our servers. We have set up a Web Messaging System to provide you with easy access to your email. The Web Messaging System can be accessed from any Java compliant web browser, such as Internet Explorer and Netscape. With the Web Messaging System there are no complicated settings to make; you just click on the link and go. There's a handy link at the top of each page on our site titled Check Webmail.

I check my email at least once a day Monday through Saturday. You can email me through your WebCT6 course or through Atlas. I check both email addresses at the same time, so you only need to send an email to one of the two addresses.
