If you have the 'full' version of Winamp it can play WMA files, and you can try writing to a WAV output file using the Nullsoft Disk Writer plugin... but sometimes it won't work - you get a message saying "Sorry, no .wav writing support for DRM enabled WRM streams". This figures, I guess. Winamp is basically playing by the rules set by Microsoft et al. There's no technical reason for not doing this... it's a "policy" thing.

In order for the product to show up, you will need to login to webcentral click "Change" on "Home", then go "Web Page Options" and hit "Save". This should update your navigation and should show your new category/ product.

Yes. Once the files are downloaded to your media player you can convert them to your preferred format. However you should note that certain files types can only be played or converted on certain computers. More information is available here.

If all your DX7 files are of the same type (for example .SYX files which are usually 4104 bytes long and contain 32 packed patches with an 8 bytes sysex wrapper) then you can put some or all of them into a single file and then convert them using SY Manager. Copy the files you want to join together (it's called concatenating) to a separate directory. NB Make sure you have made backups first !! This should put all of the syx files into a single file called newdx7.dat.

Press Ctl-P to get Preferences, then select Output in the left hand window, then select Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in in the left window... then press the Configure button to choose which directory you want your WAV files saving in. After you do this, every time you "play" a file in Winamp, it will actually be output to a WAV file in your chosen directory.

Note: The following instructions pertain to Windows Media Player version 11, which is included standard with the Windows Vista operating system. It is also available as a free upgrade from Microsoft. Click [Sync] on the Windows Media Player toolbar. The Sync List window opens to the right of the Library. Windows Media Player will transfer the music tracks into the WS-311M. When the sync is completed, a display will show how much free memory remains in the recorder.

All music files should be MP3, only. It's the most universally acceptable. Community members may have trouble with other formats.

Our software does not convert protected WMA files. To convert the WMA files, please make sure you may play it on your computer and the WMA file(s) are not copyright protected! And please make sure that the Windows Media Format codec is installed on your computer. If not, please download it from here and install it to your computer.

Copy and paste the displayed semi-colon delimited format files in a notepad and save it as a text (file.txt) file. Then open the text file in an Microsoft Excel Program and save it as tab delimited file.

There are many fine computer music programs in the world. Unfortunately, sharing music between them has been difficult. This is a real problem since no one program can do everything equally well. Having to reenter musical data for each program you want to use is a big inconvenience to everyone who uses more than one music software program. Before MusicXML, the only music interchange format commonly supported was MIDI.

Change the output preferences to Wave File (silent). In the newer versions of WinAMP, the output preferences is actually under the "Input" tab. Click Options|Preferences|Input Tab, select one of Nullsoft's Plug-In decoders, click on "Configure", then the "Output" tab, and change the output Device to ".WAV File (Silent)" (this specific info refers to version 1.92)

Before CDex 1.10 you can only encode WAV files, but not the other way around. There are several tools available which can do this job. Take a look at www.mp3.com and look for utilities like WinAmp or MaPlay.

Open the Preferences window, then select Plug-ins/Output. Select "Nullsoft Disk Writer" as your output plug-in. Then click 'Configure' and select a directory for WAV file output. The next time you hit the play button, Winamp will start writing a file with the same name as the file you're playing, but with the .WAV extension, in the directory you specified. You could Mark the thirty second drum recording (clip) and copy it six times to the desired track location.

The InfoSAR format has been incorporated into the Geospatial Data Abstraction Library (GDAL). GDAL is a translator library for raster geospatial data formats; at present, roughly 40 file formats are supported. If your file format is supported by GDAL, then all InfoPACK routines will work on your data directly without any conversion.

Create a .forward file in your home directory on the machine you wish to forward mail from, e.g. tigger, containing the email address you wish mail forwarded to. But first, be sure that that address is not forwarding mail back to the first address! For example, if your email address was xxx@math.uic.edu, you would log on to tigger and type: cd You are probably using telnet and SKey to login to NWU.

Because most word processors lack document structuring facilities, this conversion implies loss of all structure in going from LaTeX, and total lack of it in the reverse direction. In either case, the conversion is likely to be rather poor. The ltx2rtf, rtf2LaTeX, rtflatex, and unrtf utilities provide for conversion to and from an intermediate so-called 'Rich Text Format', and may do at least part of the job for you.
