Do you have the source code of the game?

Supaplex FAQ
far as I know, the source code to the game has been lost 'in history'. Probably it was on someone's computer at some time, and did not get transferred to a new computer when it was replaced. If there were any backups, I am not aware of them and they have probably also been lost or deteriorated. The changes made to the game in the SpeedFix version, have all been made with a lot of effort to the disassembled code of the game.

Can I make the BlitzMax Game Framework source code public?

Grey Alien BlitzMax Game Framework FAQ (General)
No, absolutely not. If you made the source code public, I would loose sales and you would be allowing others to pirate the source code - this would be unethical and illegal, and just plain mean. I've worked very hard to make this Framework and by preventing piracy you are encouraging me to keep on making the Framework better and better.

Can I share the BlitzMax Game Framework source code with team members?

Grey Alien BlitzMax Game Framework FAQ (General)
No, unless they purchase a copy too. The Framework is sold as a single licence per user (However, it's OK if you want to use it on a PC and a Mac in the same household because you own both and want to compile your games on both). I am happy to do a special deal in cases where other team members also need a copy - please contact me. Remember, if you share the source code with team members, it is piracy and not appreciated. Thanks.

If I make a game with the BlitzMax Game Framework, can I make the source code public?

Grey Alien BlitzMax Game Framework FAQ (General)
No, because if you made your game's source code public, you would also be making the BlitzMax Game Framework source code public, simply because it would be part of your game's source code. If you can remove the BlitzMax Game Framework source code from your game's source code then you can safely make your game's source code public.

I want to make a clone or similar game to Supaplex. Can you give me the source code?

Supaplex FAQ
I do not own any of the intellectual property rights of the game. Very simply, this means that I can not give away any such rights to others. In short, it is usually illegal to use anything from the game in anything else even if it's free. For the long option, please consult a lawyer or copyright expert. As far as I know Digital Integration still hold the original rights. Their website is http://www.digint.co.

Q: Is there any sample source code to look at?

D-Mod Author's FAQ Revision 1.3
A: The entire source code to Dink Smallwood (the game, not the engine) is included. If you copied everything from your CD's "develop" dir, then you'll notice a ZIP file called source.zip in your main Dink dir. It has all the .C source files for Dink. Many of them, just as enemy scripts & weapon scripts, are totally easy to use in your own D-Mod! Make a directory under your main Dink directory called SOURCE and unzip this file into it.
