All the tournaments are played on the weekends, with the majority being played on Saturday. Tee times vary but are posted on the website for you to plan your tournament schedule accordingly.

We play two basic types. The first is a "Swiss Format" in which you will play 6, 11 point matches over the weekend on a winner meets winner basis; there are four of these a year. The Swiss is a Ranking Tournament and all entrants in a Swiss format tournament are expected to complete all six matches.

Yes, anyone can stage a local match or tournament which can be played for points, rank, or just for sport...however, the only official tournament is held yearly by the WBKA. This Official Tournament will produce 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners who's rank will be internationally accepted and recognized. Points, ranks, and other player statuses produced as a result of non-official tournaments, or matches, will be limited to rankings within that team or chapter only...

If you know the organizer's name, you can search by his or her name and the tournament date. Otherwise, you can search by metro area (in the U.S. only) or city and the date of the event. If you want to. We participate in a number of regular competitions as a supplemental form of training and a means to test skills. Tournaments are generally held at league middle schools, although they may also be held at high schools, colleges, or universities. A league schedules its tournaments up to a year in advance. Every league has a different schedule, so it is best to ask child's coach or a league administrator for a copy of the year's schedule.
