When the university first accepts a student for admission, the Office of Admissions establishes a student record on screen 206, and mails an enrollment deposit request along with other acceptance materials to the student. This additional documentation eliminates confusion or errors on properly recording your bank's transit number. All PLR payments should be reported as income whether you received a T4A tax slip or not. When completing your income tax return, the PLR payment should be attributed to “PLR/Canada Council” since the PLR Commission operates under the administrative aegis of the Canada Council. If your payment is $500 or more you will receive a T4A slip the February following your payment. If your payment is under $500, we will not issue a T4A slip.

The Bank Account General Ledger codes do not have any additional information entered (i.e.: bank, branch, account number etc.). To enter this additional information, go to the General Ledger Menu and run the Bank Account List program.
