Pan, tilt and Zoom functionality is required in special circumstances and is generally expensive. There are however some systems with built in PTZ which is easy to install, maintain and control.

The zoom feature is based on a Java applet and that is only seen on the looping mode of the radar. Select the looping image you desire then select the "zoom-pan" button (located just below the main radar image). Your pointer should change to a finger. To ZOOM: Click on the image where you want to zoom. The more you click the image the more you zoom. The resolution of the pan/tilt controls is given in units of 1/64 degrees. However, the camera only moves for values larger than 64, i.e. 1 degree. Note that the mechanical precision is not as exact as these values may suggest. Therefore, panning the camera head 30 times by 1 degree is unlikely to give the same angle of motion as panning it one time by 30 degrees. This is a limitation of the hardware. You may also have seen an error message that reads "map is not defined" when you click on the SVG map. Please check the following possible causes. o You are not using Microsoft IE browser. Unfortunately at the time no other browser supports full integration with Adobe's SVG plugin which is required to view the SVG maps.
