Can radiator covers be fitted over electric storage heaters?

G E Little Group - radiator cover, radiator covers radiator ...
Most electric storage heaters are suitable to cover with a decorative radiator cover. Storage heaters that store heat overnight in "bricks" and release the heat through convection through the day would be suitable as the radiated heat is no different to that given from a hot radiator. Just measure your heater in the same manner as a normal radiator (as per the instructions on our web site) taking the overall width, height floor to top of storage heater and depth wall to front of heater.

This cycle will continue until the air entering the heater reaches a certain temperature, determined by the thermostat. See similar questions...

E. What about tankless electric and gas water heaters that heat water instantly?

GFX Frequently Asked Questions
There's no stored energy in this case, but the G3-60 can instantly feed back 10 to 4 kW; corresponding to 50% to 40% of the power required to sustain a continuous shower at 2.25 gpm. Similarly, an instant gas water heater's load will be reduced by 34,130 to 13,652 Btu/hr (0.341 to 0.137 therms). Without GFX, a tankless electric water heater demands 83 to 41.5 amps at 240 volts to sustain a 20 to 10 kW shower stream. With GFX, AC current demand drops by 41.5 to 24. See similar questions...

The solar water heating industry has matured a lot over the past 15 years: systems today must be OG-300 certified to receive an Oregon tax credit. See similar questions...

Question: What is the difference between an ElectroWarmth? fitted bedwarmer and an electric blanket?

Electrowarmth Bedwarmers Frequently Asked Questions
Answer: An electric blanket is used as a covering. The ElectroWarmth? fitted bedwarmer (heated mattress pad) is used under the bedding like a fitted sheet or mattress pad. You sleep ON it, not UNDER it. The ElectroWarmth? fitted bedwarmer (heated mattress pad) attaches directly to your mattress, and is covered up by your normal bedding. Do heaters work?

FAQ
The factory installed propane furnace does a pretty good job of keeping the pop-up warm, but you WILL go through a lot of gas. A normal 3 day weekend with evening temperatures in the 30's or 40's will use a full 20 lb tank of LP gas. If you're camping on an electrical site some people suggest taking along a small electric heater as well ... it will allow you to cycle the furnace off a little more and thereby us less gas.
